ATTENTION ALL BELIEVERS: THE CHURCH OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST
Mark 7:16 “If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.” KJV
2 Timothy 3:16,17 – All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. KJV
Do you truly believe that the Word of God is infallible? Does it have final authority in your life?
If your answer is no, you cannot claim to be the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Word of God is Jesus Christ. You can have NO fellowship with Christ apart from His Word. They are one in the same! REPENT
John 1:1 – In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. KJV
John 1:14 – And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us... KJV
THE MINISTRY GIFTS
Gifts were given to the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ; Jesus assuming His position as the Head.
Ephesians 4:11 – And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; KJV
PURPOSE OF THE GIFTS
What was the purpose of these gifts that were given to us in the form of Church leadership? Ask yourself this question; Is your leadership fulfilling this duty? Are you being trained with the full counsel of the Word of God? How about being trained unto righteousness?
Ephesians 4:12-16 – For the perfecting of the saints for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of faith, and the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning and craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; KJV
THE TRUE GOSPEL
We can all agree that the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, and the shedding of His blood, was God's perfect plan to redeem us. That we may have eternal life through Christ. Jesus had specific requirements regarding how to follow Him, and who can follow Him, when we have received Him as Savior and confessed Him as Lord.
Matthew 16:24 – Then Jesus said unto his disciples, “If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.”
Mark 8:34 - “...Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me.”
Luke 9:23 - “...If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow me.” (All scripture references, KJV)
THE EVIDENCES OF TRUE SALVATION: GRACE, FAITH, WORKS
Ephesians 2:8-10 – For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. KJV
Grace empowers the believer to overcome sin, not to be overcome by sin! Grace is to be continued in, not a one time event.
WHAT THE HOLY SCRIPTURES SAY ABOUT GRACE
Grace can be multiplied (2 Peter 1:2); we are to grow in grace (2 Peter 3:18); we are to labour in grace (1 Corinth 15:10); we are to receive not the grace of God in vain (2 Corinth 6:1); we are not to frustrate the grace of God (Gal 2:21); we can fall from grace (Gal 5:4); we can fail the grace of God (Heb 12:15); grace reigns through righteousness (Rom 5:21); the grace of God bringeth salvation, teaching us that denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously and godly, in this present world!!! (Titus 2:11,12). (All scripture references, KJV)
WHAT THE HOLY SCRIPTURES SAY ABOUT FAITH
Hold faith and a good conscience (1 Tim 1:19); we can shipwreck our faith (1 Tim 1:19); we can depart from the faith (1 Tim 4:1); we can cast off faith (1 Tim 5:12); we are to continue in faith (Col 1:23); we can err concerning faith (1 Tim 6:21); we can deny faith (Rev 2:13); we can fail in faith (Luke 22:32); our faith can be overthrown (2 Tim 2:18); we can fall away from faith (Luke 8:13); follow after faith (1 Tim 6:11); keep the faith (2 Tim 4:7); be sound in faith (Titus 1:13; 2:2); fight the good fight of faith (1 Tim 6:12). (All scripture references, KJV)
CHARGE OF ELDERS
The Holy Spirit commands through the scriptures, that those that are to be protecting God's sheep should not be taking advantage of them. They are to be a living example of the faith in Jesus Christ with the heart of God for His people .
1 Peter 5:1-3 – The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed: Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being examples to the flock. KJV
BEWARE OF FALSE PROPHETS/FALSE TEACHERS
Matthew 7:15,16 – “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits.” KJV
1 Timothy 6:3-5 – If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to the wholesome words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness; He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings, perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that GAIN IS GODLINESS: from such withdraw thyself. KJV
Romans 16:17,18 – Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not the Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple. KJV
2 Timothy 3:1-5 – This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more that lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof; from such turn away. KJV
2 Peter 2:1-3 – But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: KJV
2 Timothy 4:3,4 – For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. KJV
1 Timothy 4:1 – Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
Deuteronomy 13:8 - “Thou shalt not consent unto him, nor hearken unto him; neither shall thine eye pity him, neither shalt thou spare, neither shalt thou conceal him.”
Philippians 3:17-19 – Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an example. (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)
Titus 1:16 – They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.
CONSEQUENCES FOR CONTINUING IN FALSE DOCTRINES
2 Thessalonians 2:10-12 – And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
REVEALATION OF THE HOLY SCRIPTURES
Where is the godliness, holiness, and righteousness that the Word clearly teaches we are to walk in? If your so called “church” looks no different than the world, full of ungodliness, they are preaching a FALSE GOSPEL!!! They are blaspheming the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to the world! They omit the fullness of the true Gospel which is to assure Christ's bride, His Church, will be pure and holy upon His return. He is not returning for a filthy whore full of sin and ungodliness. “Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.” (Rev 19-7,8) “And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Thess 1:23) To the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.” (1Thess 3:13) (All KJV)
It is a burden on my heart, that all who truly love the Lord Jesus Christ, will turn from this system of false doctrine, the doctrines of men, in the “American church” that teaches us we can continue in the world and its ways and be saved by the same God who declares in His Word that the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; (Romans 1:18) KJV
They have compromised the Gospel to make the “church” a place where the world will feel comfortable in. They use the system of the world to draw the world. More in attendance means the more potential income. Gain is godliness remember? Wrong! They are using business tactics to grow the “church” instead of allowing the Holy Spirit add unto the Church as witnessed in Acts. “Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.” (James 4:4) KJV
Ask yourselves this question, how can we go to “church” when we are supposed to be the Church? Luke 17:21 says that the kingdom of God is within you! Some say, “you're not to forsake that assembling of ourselves.” That is correct. Hebrews 10:25 says that we should not forsake the assembling of ourselves together. This is referring to the born again believers, the true Church, not the world or even a mixture of saved and unsaved!
Show me one place in the scriptures where “souled” out, bonafide, born again believers, were striving to obtain comfortable lives with nice houses & nice “earthly” things! On the contrary, they were preoccupied with living righteously and holy before an Almighty God being persecuted and put to death for the cause of Christ! It's not that there is no more persecution, it's that we're not living righteously. God forgive us!!! When you do, there is a guarantee that the world will hate you. Try self denial for once. It is the very first requirement Jesus gives us in order to follow Him, in case you've forgotten, followed by us carrying our cross daily. The flesh has one command in the Word and that is to be put to death. “Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin. Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him.” (Romans 6:6-8)
The list goes on and on and on. It is because we have grown too lazy to study the Word daily that we allow ourselves to be deceived by such false doctrines. We entrust a man to feed us the Word of God when Jesus said we are to follow Him daily. He also said that man should not live on bread alone, but by every Word of God. Study to show thyself approved brethren. Don't trust a mere man or system with your own soul! You were purchased with a price. It is our reasonable service that we die daily for Him. As Paul said, “It is not I that live, but Christ that lives through me.” Let us decrease that He may increase. He is worthy of ALL glory, AMEN!!!
Remember you WILL suffer persecution for standing for righteousness and for defending the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus said, “If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you;” (John 15:18-20) KJV
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge...” Hosea 4:6
